In the last five (glorious, exciting) days...
- I have heard from one prospective employer in Kelowna via email, who wishes to meet with me on February the 11th.
- I dropped off a resume (and filled out an application) with another prospective employer in Kelowna, got to meet my prospective boss and talk with him, and have a distinct feeling he is interested in hiring me. He is going to talk to his Human Resources department on Monday, and get back to me.
- Learned that I have a potential "in" with a Christian lady who runs three apartment buildings in Kelowna.
- Got to see my parents' nice, new (to them) apartment.
- Went to my ex's and my daughter's place, to spend time with them, had some pizza and watched Critters 3 on DVD, helped them install Baldur's Gate on their computer.
- Started playing Baldur's Gate myself again; after leaving my game 6 weeks ago and not touching it since I am now back playing!
- Continue to feel that God is getting me to Kelowna, and soon. Blessings coming, doors opening, favor of God going before me. Thank You, Lord!

Getting It
God has a plan for your life, but the specifics you want so desperately are revealed only as you are committed to the journey of devotion and discipleship. God wants you to know His will. Delight yourself in Him; put aside preconceived notions, and concentrate on trust, obedience, and a personal relationship with Christ. Wait patiently on Him, and at the right time, the answer will come.
Every time we are called to obey God, our faith is challenged and our true nature revealed. When our hearts are set on obedience, then God responds mightily. There will be moments in life when you may ask, “Lord, is this a matter of obedience?” If so, choose to obey in faith, then “let down your nets” and prepare for a tremendous blessing. As we move forward in obedience, we can thank God in advance for the miraculous blessings coming our way!

Faith
Faith does not come from trying harder or digging deeper or praying longer. Faith comes from our view of God – the bigger we see God as being, the more faith we have. Get your eyes off of circumstances, and off of self, and put your eyes on God.
Glory
We were created to bring glory to God in all that we do. That is our life’s mission. That is our purpose. All that we do, all that we go after, all that we believe for in life, must be things that bring glory to God.
Reward
The harder that the devil pushes you, the bigger the impact your faith and faithfulness is going to have if you see it through. The hardest opposition, brings the greatest reward. God will use those who are willing to stick it out, those who are ready to be faithful, and those who can be counted on.
Dreams
When God puts a dream in your heart, it may look impossible in the natural. Every voice may tell you it will never happen, but if you will believe and stay in faith, and expect good things, you too can defy the odds. God would not have put the dream in your heart if he had not already given you everything you need to fulfill it. If I have a dream or desire, and I know it’s from God, I don’t have to worry whether I have what it takes to see that dream fulfilled; I know God doesn’t make mistakes.
